As a Head of Retail Excellence at Toys“R”Us China headquarter office, you will be cultivating, building and guiding one of the world’s most fun and exciting brands and its operations. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Head of Retail Excellence will be responsible for developing the Operation Strategy and Execution Plan in order to achieve the company’s goals. The plan should include but not limited to improvement of retail productivity, optimization of operation cost and staffing, improvement on customer in-store experience, improvement on key processes, loss prevention, identification of retail innovation opportunities etc.

2. Lead the Operation Support Center team to be the main liaison between cross function teams and store operation team and ensure the execution of HQ programs

3. Lead the Operation Calendar to ensure the in-store execution of every campaign and promotion activities

4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and brand standards.

5. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

6. Stay abreast of retail trends and best practices in the Chinese market.

7. Analyze operational data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

8. Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall China retail strategy.

9. Responsible for retail management system construction, establishment and optimization of process and systematic work.

10. Drive efficient store SOPs for a standard operating procedures to help the operating efficiency of the business.

11. Support the store management teams by ensuring they are fully trained and competent users on store operating systems to avoid discrepancies and risk to the business.

12. Monitor the activity in all Toys”R”Us locations and ensure that company policies and standard operating procedures are being adhered to.

13. Leading projects that focus on retail innvoations and/or operation systems to improve on operation efficiency. focused on operational systems.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor degree or above.

2. More than 8 years operation working experience in retail industry.

3. Have good customer handling, time management, negotiations and conflict resolution skills.

4. Can use different ways/methods to motivate others and create a climate in which people want to do their best.

5. Strong leadership and people management skills.

6. Can manage/facilitate effective brainstorming.

7. Be good at bringing the creative ideas of team to market.

8. Good reading and written communication in English.
