We needs a capable, motivated Sales Manager. The successful candidate of this will be a core member of the regional sales team and be in EAA BA. This position does not only include the management of the local current and future customer key accounts according to the strategic requirements of the EAA BA, but also the revenue generation by coating systems according to certain forecasts and growth plans. The individual will be responsible for the development and the substantial business orientation of vacuum coating systems for flexible and ridged substrates used in the Consumer Electronics in China. Further, the Sales Manager will be responsible for effectively communicating customer expectations and technical requirements to sales and technology teams of the business area in the Headquarter. It is required to establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers.
Your tasks
1. Developing and revising equipment sales proposals and quotations;
2. Alignment meetings with internal key stakeholders on a regular basis;
3. Understanding customer needs/technical requirements and providing profound input during the quotation and/or proposal development;
4. Calculating budgetary prices and understanding the costs associated with the sales;
5. Executing on sales forecast activities and performance goals, accordingly;
6. Meeting with clients, assisting sales agents with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals;
7. Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion;
8. Reviewing and analyzing sales performance against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness;
9. Monitoring competitor products, sales and marketing activities;
10. Overseeing and evaluating market research and adjusting the marketing strategy to meet changing market requirements;
11. Ensures that the expected sales results are achieved.
Your Profile
1. Master′s degree in Business Administration or Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
2. 2 years of a proven track record as sales expert in plasma technology, vacuum coating or related technologies and applications;
3. Familiar with working in an international organization dealing with industrial goods or sputter target material;
4. Good knowledge of PC hardware and software (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, e-Mail);
5. Being good at report preparation and data analysis;
6. Very good communication skills, good listening skills and an understanding of how-to response;
7. Very good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory for this position; speaking German is a plus;
8. Being self-motivated and strive to succeed in a competitive environment with a customer-oriented, problem-solving work style;
9. Contributing to the further development of the company in accordance with the requirements of company;
10. Clean and confident appearance;
11. Establishing and maintaining an excellent corporate image of company;
12. Travelling is required, both domestically and internationally, up to 60 % of the time and overnight.
