To review design, specification and implementation of new processes, from product development to the production stages, in accordance with production targets in terms of quality, cost and delivery in welding process area.
1. Provide technical knowledge to continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing productivity.
2. Assist in the identification of new materials, methods, and tools in order to improve current processes and/or equipment.
3. Develop understanding of production processes to identify the key process parameters related to product performance.
4. Support the execution of studies to stabilize, characterize, and optimize key process parameters.
5. Support Manufacturing in efforts to troubleshoot the manufacturing processes on a daily basis.
6. Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing documentation with input from appropriate functions.
7. Assist production in the training of operators, technicians as needed.
