Key objective * Responsible for every engineering aspect during localization projects in China and in Asia along the nomination and product development process for any powertrain system (e.g. base engine, HEAT, HV-Battery) and the related components from scouting, via nomination until releases, SOP and in series production phase. * Responsible for decision making (in the SE-/ BE-team) and preparation of decision to be done in the deciding project circles. * Local supplier qualification from an engineering aspect and build-up of a qualified supplier pool in Asia for conventional and electric powertrain systems and components. * Ensure efficient communication of technical issues and support discussions with and at local suppliers as also with internal partners.
