This Local Fund Custody Manager role is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to lead multiplies functional team such as Fund accounting, Information disclosure, Post transaction monitoring, Clearing and settlement and Fiduciary. The overall objective of this role is to lead the team to ensure the seamless delivery of LFC business.
Responsibilities:
1. In charge of Local Fund Custody team management and operational BAU running.
2. Liaise with the product manager, project manager to perform products’ pre-validation, service models/service details finalization, BAU delivery for local mutual funds, private funds and SMA..etc
3. Lead the Local Fund Custody team to liaise with vendor to perform system testing, module deployment, version update for the core functions -- Clearing, Fund accounting, Investment monitoring and Information disclosure.
4. Lead the Local Fund Custody team to draft the operation manual/SOPs of Fund Accounting, Clearing and Investment Monitoring, to comply with Citi operation standard and local regulatory requirements.
5. Draw the various internal policies and guidelines related to Internal Control and Risk Management about Local Fund Custody.
6. Onboarding new deals and involve in new business assessment on behalf of LFC team.
7. Conduct the training within the Local Fund Custody team and ensure the operational readiness would be sufficient for the BAU running along with backup and cross training be properly arranged.
. Finish the appointed tasks/duties delegated by supervisors.
Qualifications:
1． Bachelor Degree or above holder.
2． 10 year above fund custody experience, among which 5 years local mutual fund custody experience in the custody bank or local large / medium fund management companies is required, plus 3 years management experience.
3． Fund Industry Qualification Holder.
4． Strong domain knowledge on local fund custody. Fund accounting and Investment monitoring background is prefer. Broker settlement model and YSS custody system experience is prefer.
5． Strong management skill and leadership. Project management experience would be a plus
6． Fluent spoken English and Mandarin.

Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
